Before a pattern goes on sale, a few makers work it from the PDF and tell me where they got stuck, what was unclear and what they loved. Their notes turn a beta into a pattern you can trust.

How it works

1. Fill in the form on this page. You'll get an email to confirm your address.
2. When a test opens, I write to the testers whose crafts match, with the patterns and the deadline.
3. You choose a pattern, get the PDF and work it at your own pace before the deadline.
4. You send me short notes and a photo of your finished piece.

Test PDFs stay private until the pattern is released. Testing is open to everyone, whatever your skill level; just tell me honestly what you're comfortable with.
